Dear Fans, My brother Charles Peterson Sheppard (author) of The Specialist: The Costa Rica Job and I greatly appreciate your support. I am so happy that our collaborative effort is being enjoyed by so many of you.

For me being on Survivor on CBS changed my life and has afforded me an unique opportunity to pursue new things in life I never thought possible. If you continue to purchase our book I think it will give me more opportunities in television and film. To be candid about it, it is the only thing I want to do now after working so many years in the corporate world I am burnt out at 55 (LOL).

So yes The Specialist needs your help to turn his dreams into “Reality” no delusions, not crazy just your continued support. I hope you guys like me as much as I like you the words of encouragement are driving me onward and upward.

WOMEN ARE POWERFUL IN THE SPECIALIST THE COSTA RICA JOB

The most interesting thing is that women play a very active role in the book and drive almost all the action forward. The hero (The Specialist) is surrounded by women who constantly put him in danger, get him out of danger, and drive the plot forward. This is a feminist leaning book disguised as a heroic male mini-epic. It’s good to be The Specialist. Women are also purchasing the book as much as men and we are very grateful for all the support. I nodded, and then looked over at my dog as he rustled in his sleep. “’Clavos’…you said his name meant ‘nails,’ right?”

“Yeah…”

“How about… ‘Spike’? The dog snapped his head up and stared at me, and cocked his head in curious recognition. The tail wagged too, so I said the name again… “Hey, Spike.” Suddenly, the little guy sprung to his feet, alert and happy. We were both surprised.

“Spike!” said Chava, and he snapped his head in her direction as well. “That’s his name…it must be, Phillip. Well, well…You’re damn good.”
